Graham to Mueller: Give testimony if you dispute Barr

Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham on Friday asked Robert Mueller if he’d like to testify about any “misrepresentation” by Attorney General William Barr concerning a phone call they had about the special counsel’s report.

“Please inform the Committee if you would like to provide testimony regarding any misrepresentation by the Attorney General of the substance of the phone call,” Graham wrote to Mueller in a letter dated Friday.Earlier this week, news outlets reported that Mueller sent a March letter to Barr expressing disagreement with the way Barr handled the release of his report, specifically that Barr’s four-page summary “did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance” of Mueller’s report.

In a subsequent phone call, Mueller voiced concern that the media misrepresented the report’s investigation into whether President Donald Trump committed obstruction of justice. During his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee Wednesday, Barr said that Mueller did not dispute the accuracy of his four-page summary to Congress.

Can someone explain why Mueller hasn’t testified. It seems like something both he and congress would want to do. What is stopping him from doing it?

Mueller made a mistake signing that letter to Barr (and releasing it to the public). It's not what executives do. Barr even said so when he suggested Mueller's staff wrote the snitty letter. Now Mueller must come forward to explain why he went around Barr and Rosenstein.

Generously, Mueller took a year to figure out no collusion and then he took another year to try and fish for and manufacture obstruction. No collusion. No obstruction. Game over.

And when did Mueller know their was no collusion cause it didn’t take two years to figure that out?

I KNOW there’s a catch in this. Either Graham knows Mueller can’t get WH permission, or that Mueller will be muzzled on what he can reveal so Republicans can make a fool of him and damage his credibility. Only in the House can he get a fair shake. The price for no indictment.

It's called the Mueller report. Why would anyone other than he, given the circumstances, present the report summary? Whether Graham is acting in good faith is irrelevant, every ethical member of Congress, so maybe 25 of them, need to have Mueller give a fireside chat.
