White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters late Friday that Biden administration officials are closely monitoring the storm forecast with the National Hurricane Center and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
“We will continue to maintain a forward-leaning posture throughout the remainder of this hurricane season,” she added during her daily briefing with White House reporters.
