TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — After an FBI briefing, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis says Russian hackers gained access to voter databases in two Florida counties ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
DeSantis said Tuesday the hackers didn't manipulate any data and the election results weren't compromised. The governor said he signed an agreement with the FBI not to disclose the names of the counties, but elections officials in those counties are aware of the intrusions.He said the hackers gained access through a spearfishing email after a worker clicked a link.
Republican U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio has previously said at least one Florida county had an intrusion. Special counsel Robert Mueller's report on Russian interference in the 2016 election also said hackers gained access to the network of at least one Florida county.
But no need for voters to produce IDs right? 🙄

Voter Databases not the voting or counting. Most voters database info is public anyway and usually sold just like drivers license data by the state. It doesn't affect RESULTS.
Trump believes Russia's attacks didn't happen. In his mind, since he invited the Russians, that's not attacking. Now, that these attacks are being exposed by the IC&FBI, he now wants to use resources to convince everyone that the FBI&IC are corrupt. He's good at hoodwinking...

Access to voter rolls and making small changes to voter info ( eg. initial, spelling, etc.) can keep voter from voting or only vote provisionally. Keep voters from voting, don’t need to change vote count. I.e. Repub “exact match” policy. Focus on changes to voter info not count.
Why did the president in 2016 allow this to happen? Obama did nothing!! Perhaps, he told them he would have more flexibility after the election!
Many people think voter records are completely private? In reality, most states allow campaigns to obtain voter lists, including every registered voter, along with their addresses, party registration and voting history. In MN, buy this info from the Sec of State, CD-ROM-$46!
Before today, we had to assume that the RonDeSantisFL victory was a statistical anomaly. (He wins by a small margin despite never leading in the polls) Now we know it was a hack and he is probably an illegitimate governor. Why else keep quiet about which counties were hacked?
