revival will stall unless private sector employers require workers return to the office, and NYC actively addresses gun violence, homelessness and high taxes.

“If you were to see a 15% decline of people coming back to New York City that would have a devastating impact,” he said. “Homelessness is a major problem in New York City. It is sad to see people in that situation and it can be dangerous.” Cuomo also urged private employers to admit only vaccinated people onto their premises. “I want to go safe restaurants and theaters and bars and I think it’s good business for the private sector and provides good incentives to get the vaccine.” He gave a shout-out to James Dolan, owner of Radio City Music Hall, which led the way, opening in May and requiring proof of vaccination for all major events.

Funny how he doesn't care about the restaurants and businesses where these workers live, who get most of this money if people telework. It should also make him notice how people are working better at home and don't want to work in NYC. Fix NYC and people will want to be there.

- NYC has a vacancy rate of almost 20% (most since 2000) - NYC also has ~25% weekly office utilization, growing at .5% weekly More info for those who are curious:

Tell that to nursing homes

Lol. No F ing chance Lol

A bunch of businesses just discovered they are throwing away money on offices, workers benefit from employers greed for once and the governments like “nah, fuck that”

Maybe stopping the endless crime would help? How many people getting knocked out and robbed do I have to watch before this clown actually DOES something about it. You Voted For it

Force people to return to work in their office? Good luck with that.

Lmao

why would it be devastating?
