Pro football star turned Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker will not say whether he has been vaccinated. But in Walker’s mind, he may not need the shot.
In an August 2020 interview with right-wing talk show host Glenn Beck, Walker hyped two unspecified aerosol COVID prophylactics. One was the aforementioned “dry mist,” for use in an interior environment; the other was some sort of “spray.”, amid a discussion of law enforcement, beginning by telling Beck that he “probably shouldn’t tell you.”
That claim would seem to indicate that the mystery treatment is an existing product. While there are obviously disinfectant sprays that are FDA-approved, no spray has been proven to stop the transmission of the airborne coronavirus. Walker’s claims seem to be based on nothing. Beck does a double-take, but the football icon isn’t done.
“They don’t want to talk about that. They don’t want to hear about that,” Walker says. “And I’m serious.”“I, I will tell you—I, I’ll tell you that, um, Herschel, that, um, the more investigation that we’ve done—we’re over 150 days now into our 15-day flatten-the-curve experiment. And I look at it and there’s something more going on, and it’s teaching us to be controlled,” the host says.

He also said he'll make sure kids are back in school. I guess next January when he's sworn in. So I guess this year is a wash. I'm sure Republicans will have no problem waiting a year for Herschell to take charge of their kids education, so they can be as smart as him. 🙄

EPA approved two products, Lysol Disinfectant Spray (EPA Reg No. 777-99) and Lysol Disinfectant Max Cover Mist (EPA Reg No. 777-127), based on laboratory testing that shows the products are effective against SARS-CoV-2.
He's also said he suffered from multiple personality disorder. I guess that's why the Dallas Cowboys got so many players by trading him.
