El ministro se mostró optimista respecto del posterior tratamiento del proyecto en el Senado ya que, según afirmó, el oficialismo cuenta con el apoyo de gobernadores opositores a los que responden varios legisladores. El gobierno aclaró que, de ser aprobado el proyecto de ley, seguirá impulsando las reformas que no queden incluidas y considere necesarias.
