Global consumer products firm adds to Garland plant

The U.S. division of a global consumer products firm is expanding its operations in Garland.

Zobele plans to increase the size of the facility by almost 50% with the construction of a 76,000-square-foot addition to add manufacturing lines. Zobele has had the operation in Garland since 2018 and is also spending $18 million on new machinery to double its production. The new manufacturing lines will produce an additional 34 million bottles of products each year.The city provided economic incentives to support the improvements and new hiring.
