Giants guard Ben Bredeson , offensive tackle Andrew Thomas and offensive tackle Evan Neal after a practice during training camp in July.“I think both of them have an opportunity to play,” coach Brian Daboll said before practice Wednesday. “We’ll take that day by day and see where they are at Friday.”
“You never know how hamstrings are, so we’ll see where he’s at by the end of the week,” Daboll said of Waller. If Thomas and Neal are able to play against the Raiders, it would mark the first time since opening night against the Dallas Cowboys that the Giants had their starting offensive line intact. Since then, the Giants have used seven different offensive line combinations and added four new offensive linemen to the roster because of injuries. Offensive linemen Joshua Ezeudu, Matt Peart and Shane Lemieux have all been placed on injured reserve, which forced the Giants to sign Justin Pugh, Tyre Phillips, Sean Harlow and Joshua Miles.
