PHOENIX — The Arizona Diamondbacks are hungry for a sweep in Game 3 of the National League Division Series against the L.A. Dodgers. Fans are too – but if you are also hungry for some good downtown Phoenix eats before the game, 12News has you covered. A local, independent craft brewery based in Tempe that has locations in uptown Phoenix and downtown Phoenix. The downtown location has an extensive menu of beer and American fare.

From cheese crisps to chimichangas, Blanco Cocina & Cantina has fans looking for a laid back atmosphere and good eats covered. From 3 to 6 p.m., fans can also enjoy happy hour specials.So close to the big game you can taste it — and you can taste some delicious tacos, too. This locally owned and operated restaurant is right down the street from Chase Field features cocktails, beer, tacos, burritos and more.

The two-story 22,300-square-foot entertainment destination is adjacent to Chase Field and features nine betting windows, 13 self-service betting kiosks and a total capacity of more than 425 fans. Looking for some Fieri classics? The restaurant features the world-famous Trash Can Nachos and award-winning Bacon Mac ‘n’ Cheeseburger.

The Cardinals have made the State Farm Stadium in Glendale their home turf and the Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix is home to both the Suns and the Mercury. The Indoor Football League’s Arizona Rattlers also play at the Footprint. Phoenix has a soccer team with the USL's Phoenix Rising FC. The Valley hosts multiple major sporting events on a yearly basis, including college football's Fiesta Bowl and Cactus Bowl; the PGA Tour’s highest-attended event, the Waste Management Phoenix Open; NASCAR events each spring and fall; and Cactus League Spring Training.
