A Decatur, Ga., man was killed Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash.
Sgt. Jeremy J. Burkett of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said the crash happened at approximately 9:08 a.m. on Interstate 85 near the 15 mile marker, about five miles east of Montgomery, in Montgomery County. Richard Roberts, 63, was fatally injured when the 2020 Isuzu box-truck he was driving struck the rear of a 2014 Freightliner tractor-trailer, driven by Jayson C. Banks, 43, of Rex, Ga.Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
