Old Navy offering free Lyft rides on Super SaturdayOld Navy said Thursday that it has partnered with ride-hailing app Lyft to offer free rides on Dec. 22, otherwise known as Super Saturday, the last Saturday before Christmas. According to the National Retail Federation, 134 million consumers will be shopping that day. The free round-trip ride will get shoppers who are using the buy-online-pickup-in-store service from their house to the Old Navy location and back. This Saturday and Sunday, guests who use the buy-online-pickup-in-store service will also get a free gift-wrapping set, and from Thursday until Monday these customers will get a $5 gift card to use towards their next purchase. Thursday is also the free online shipping deadline for online purchases of over $100, with delivery by Christmas Eve. Old Navy is a Gap Inc. brand. Gap shares have tumbled 26.7% for the year to date while the S&P 500 index has fallen 8.3% for the period.
