Summary Destro is set to face off against some of the deadliest characters in the entire G.I. Joe franchise in the Energon Universe, but for the long-time Cobra villain, they’re just names on his “kill list.” The first issue of Destro’s new miniseries set up a secret war between various arms dealers, with the Scottish Laird facing off against the Crimson Twins, Tomax and Xamot.
Tomax and Xamot have already appeared in the first issue, declaring war on Destro and M.A.R.S. Industries for supremacy in the global arms race. Solicitations for future issues also point to a new enemy known as Chameleon, who Destro will have to confront without any weapons. Of course, the blacked out character could be an entirely new take on another franchise character.
