There is something really sick about this. If you don’t or can’t pay for the empty seat, you can’t social distance. So if you happen to be in the most perilous group you are forced to put your life in danger by these policies unless you have discretionary funds. Doesn’t sit right

Frontier kept our money for a flight we had to cancel due to the virus , they said if we don't book another flight by June 3 their keeping the money and there's nothing we can do about it - exact words.

So the person on the right pays while the person on the left doesn’t but gets the same empty middle seat. Or even better they both pay. If the airline thinks this is a safety measure they should not book middle seats. OnOurBacks they stand and the rich become richer!

How about just remove the middle seat to give everyone more leg room like premium economy charge a little more for a comfortable flight. I know passenger comfort goes against airline marketing plan. This is an opportunity to improve the situation for all travelers.
