What began decades ago as an open call for local musicians to perform on six stages on Royal and Bourbon Streets has expanded into an event with 20 stages that welcomes over 825,000 people and is a critical economic driver for the city, French Quarter Festival organizers said. Emily Madero, president & CEO of French Quarter Festivals Inc., said the company “is proud to say we have stayed committed to our mission for four decades, providing a platform for local artists, chefs, and restaurants to showcase their talents.”

Did officials give Chiefs a fourth-quarter do-over in AFC championship game?Bengals coach Zac Taylor wasn't happy when officials were supposed to run the play clock but not the game clock after an incomplete pass. That’s absolutely incorrect. I’m watching the replay, the game clock STOPPED at 10:29 on the 2nd down incomplete pass. The game clock then did not start until the snap on 3rd down. The refs on the field and on tv we’re flat out wrong. The Chiefs got an extra play!
