MOUNTAIN VIEW — Authorities are asking the public to be on the lookout for three French bulldog puppies that were taken from a Mountain View home during a recent burglary.
A Mountain View police news release says only that the dogs were stolen “several weeks” ago from a home on the 800 block of El Camino Real. Two were taken from the backyard and a third was taken from inside the house. After the thefts, two men approached one of the victim’s neighbors and asked about their dog, which was also a French bulldog. One of the men was described as 25 to 30 years old, with braces and a tattoo on his right shoulder.French bulldogs are often targeted for theft because they have a high resale value, and can sell for as much as $10,000, according to authorities.
