Franklin Graham, a prominent evangelical supporter of President Donald Trump, is calling for Christians across the country to set aside this Sunday as a “special day of prayer” for the president.
About 250 Christian leaders affirmed Graham’s call to prayer, signing a statement in support on the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s website. In his Facebook post, Graham took note of a scripture verse that calls on Christians to pray for “kings” and all those in authority. He asked pastors to lead their congregations in praying for the president this Sunday.
