March 11 will mark the second anniversary of the World Health Organization declaring COVID-19 a pandemic. Hence, nations are discussing what COVID-19 measures may rollout throughout 2022, as the virus turns 2 years old.

, more nations are considering a fourth COVID-19 shot, specifically for groups who are most vulnerable including the elderly and people who are immunocompromised.

Last year the U.S. said it was too early to decide on a fourth dose. Though now Alison Hunt, a US Food and Drug Administration] spokesperson, toldin an email on Friday, “[The US Food and Drug Administration] is indeed continually looking at the emerging data on the pandemic and variants in the United States and overseas in order to evaluate the potential utility and composition of booster doses.”
