Starting on April 23, a parade of planets — Mars, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn — will line up and will be visible to the naked eye during the predawn hours, according toVenus and Jupiter, two of the brightest planets in the sky, will appear extra close on April 30, similar to the meetup of Mars and Saturn seen earlier this month.While these planets appear to be moving close together, they are actually far apart in space, according to NASA. The view from Earth changes from month to month.
“If you recall the grand conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn at the end of 2020, these conjunctions are not quite as close as that, but still really impressive and they’ll make for thrilling sights in the morning sky,” NASA said in a blog post. “So definitely try to catch them if you can!”The planetary alignment will be most visible in the northern hemisphere for about an hour before sunrise.
The moon will appear to move along the four planets from April 23 to 29, but the others will remain in the cosmic line until early July, according to Live Science. You won’t need a telescope, and if the skies are clear of clouds, the line of planets should be clearly visible to you.LATEST SPORTS NEWS
