While some fans are excited about Dr. Strange's arrival to Fortnite, others are getting a bit tired of all the Marvel content.

Following the announcement that Dr. Strange would be coming to Fortnite as part of the latest battle pass, many of the game's players have started to push back. The free-to-play battle royale game has been heavily featuring Marvel-centric content for a few years now, and it seems like at least part of the fanbase is starting to get tired of it.

Epic Games has many different approaches when it comes to bolstering its live-service offerings in Fortnite. The game is regularly updated, and its seasonal model allows for a wide array of unique changes and additions, including new maps, features, and even entirely different mechanics or activities.

These detractors will likely be disappointed if the rumors of Miles Morales coming to Fortnite end up being true. Whether that rumor is true or not, the fact that most gamers seem to find it extremely plausible might say all there is to say about Fortnite's abundant use of these characters. Indeed, it seems like just about every major character from the world of Marvel has appeared in Fortnite in some shape or form - some have even shown up more than once.

It's hard to know exactly what Fortnite's developers are thinking with regards to the introduction of so much Marvel content, but they might be in something of a tricky situation. It's clear that some vocal parts of the fanbase are outspoken against the over-representation of Marvel characters, but these skins also appear to be the most popular, so Epic is likely just trying to serve its fans what they have expressed interest in.Fortnite is playable across all platforms.

Doctor Strange 2 Fan Poster Offers A Glimpse At A Dark Marvel MultiverseA new DoctorStrange in the Multiverse of Madness fan-made poster from graphic designer Arjun Offl imagines a very dark version of Marvel's multiverse. The poster is gorgeous. Also, I love Wanda with the darker hair and I appreciate that the version of the costume they used is from Wandavision. The suit with the exposed arms and the long gloves is superior to her look in Mom IMO. At least, based on what we have seen so far.
