One of President Donald Trump's most common responses to intelligence briefings is to doubt what he's being told, former Deputy Director of Intelligence Susan Gordon said Tuesday.
Gordon, an intelligence veteran of more than 30 years, said Monday that Trump had two typical responses to briefings. "One, 'I don't think that's true,'" Gordon told the Women's Foreign Policy Group. "The one is 'I'm not sure I believe that,'" Gordon continued,"and the other is the second order and third order effects. 'Why is that true? Why are we there? Why is this what you believe? Why do we do that?' Those sorts of things.
That's very good
Not to question the information gathered would be insane, Especially when you have a rogue agent wanting to write a book. Thank God for President Trump.
He’s so unfit.
Do you blame him? One of his first briefings was on the Dirty Dossier, and let’s not forget the Russian Collusion Hoax.
Wow!Trump actually asks the intelligence officials to explain & present the evidence of their findings. Now I respect him even more.
His not stupid
Jesus lord help us! Who is this
Deep state loves to think it’s right
And no one is shocked
Like JFK?
George Bush should not accepted as fact the 'weapons of mass destruction' in Iraq. Intelligence never explained how they got that wrong.
Great practice, too bad he just winds up doing what they say anyways. Remember 'Animal Assad?'
How did that work for Bush and weapons of mass destruction?
Trump’s such a stupid ass
Do you blame him? With half the people around him trying to sabotage him..... why do you think he thought the hurricane would hit Alabama for instance? Do you doubt that he has been given false info before? I sure don’t.
Can’t blame him after getting a look at her?!!!!👹👹
And this is because he knows better? From Fox News?
Trump is correct
That’s a man, Baby.
Former
So he asked her for information to corroborate her findings and he canned her from becoming the Director!! Got any other beefs!!!
The rubes are on a roll in here. There is a difference in questioning something and denying almost every common sense assessment our intelligence department briefs him on. Is it straight up stupidly or willful ignorance? My brain hurts for you.
This is unbelievably dangerous!
Nobody cares.. FakeNews
the video buffer on your site is messed up for me. I looked for a support area to report it but couldn't find one, so....here ya go.
Uh I'd question them a bit aswell
And rightly so. Just ask JFK....oh wait, you can't, he's dead.
I think the questions he is asking is spot on. Why should he take it at face value and not challenging them?
Question everything
An idiots reaction.
Thank God for that at least.
Of course. The Stable Genius knows everything.
Skepticism is always healthy. Don’t just listen and believe
As he should. Let’s talk about the recent ‘bombshell’ info released about Syria. These people keep trying to manipulate us into more wars. And how in the world did 17 Intel agencies determine that Russia ‘hacked’ the election again?
Not a bad idea given that our intelligence agencies swore Iraq had wmds.
That’s a man baby
They're so truthful. THEY SHOULD ALWAYS BE TRUSTED! Right lefties? Right Susan Gordon? The President should never question anything. He should just have that 'rubber stamp' ready to go!!! What could go wrong?
In Life or Death our hope is in Jesus for his will his plan his power to come forth. His lovingkindness to follow us deliver us up hold us strengthen us, and be with us forever on the mountain and in the valley of the shadow of death. He is in control, as we follow his voice.
Gordon is a known Russian asset!!!
Gee I wonder why? Clapper lied to Congress along with DIRNSA and admitted it. All of our Intelligence Agencies FAILED to stop a single terrorist attack!
His inside Intel is better for draining the swamp.
If bush would have had the stones to challenge his intelligence briefings we could have saved millions of lives and trillions of dollars.
