and burning her body, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison in connection with drugs and weapons charges after reaching a plea agreement with prosecutors Monday morning to avert a trial, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. Ware pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute and one count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and was sentenced as part of a plea agreement, said Mike Holley, first assistant prosecutor with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.Ex-NFL player Kevin Ware was charged with girlfriend Taylor Pomaski's death. The next court date in that murder case tentatively was set for Feb. 8, according to Harris County District Court records. from a separate incident in April 2021, when Ware was pulled over on suspicion of speeding and deputies allegedly discovered a loaded AK-47 and drugs in his car.Ware had been a standout prep prospect from Klein High School. He played for Washington in the NFL in 2003 and the San Francisco 49ers in 2004.
