Former Maryland tight end CJ Dippre narrowed down his final two choices to Ohio State and Alabama last week, but ultimately chose the Crimson Tide on Tuesday.
He notably showed promise in the Terrapins' game against Ohio State in November at College Park where he caught four passes for 30 yards and a touchdown in Maryland’s 43-30 loss to the Buckeyes.

NIL should be redesigned as follows: 1) all players should get a scholarship & room and board 2) all players should get an equal amount of money, a monthly stipend, no more than $1,000/mo 3) those who don't perform & act like primadonas (ie CJ) should not receive the stipend
The NIL was designed to destroy college football. It's NOT normal for some of those kids to get paid these obscene amounts of money. It's also not normal for some to get paid millions and they don't even deserve it; while others put their body on the line and get next to zilch.
