Football, like many other team sports, has the potential to build character through various experiences and challenges. The game requires a certain amount of discipline and commitment especially to compete at the highest levels. But if you ask Donte or Ronald Kent what football means to them it, is so much more than just a game.

The game requires a certain amount of discipline and commitment especially to compete at the highest levels. But if you ask Donte or Ronald Kent what football means to them, it is so much more than just a game.

“Football saved my life,” Ronald Kent said. “Growing up in the inner city of Harrisburg was rough. It’s a lot of distractions but football saved me from all of it.”After high school Ronald Kent went on to have a successful football career at Western Carolina before transferring to Central Michigan to play his final season with younger brother Donte. Ronald finished the 2022 season with 56 total tackles , 10 pass breakups, 6 tackles for loss and 1 sack.

If you ever had a chance to watch Ronald or Donte play one thing you will know is they are always having fun on the field. You can usually see them dancing or hyping up teammates in between plays and during timeouts. The energy that the Kent Brothers bring to the game is something any sports fan can appreciate.
