Hickenlooper Plans to End Democratic Presidential CampaignFormer Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper plans to drop out of the 2020 presidential race on Thursday, according to a person familiar with his plans. Of course, that was the entire purpose of his Presidential run, TWO fundraising opportunities for a single race. Unspent Presidential campaign funds can be dumped into his Senate campaign fund and all his previous donors can donate AGAIN. We've got 15 or so more democratic candidates I'd like to see do the same in their state as Senators This isn't necessarily bad for republicans. Any democrat was winning the Colorado senate seat in 2020. Hickenlooper running pretty much guarantees that it won't be someone from the Bernie-wing that gets it.
