Forever, Interrupted: Laura Dern & Margaret Qualley to Lead Netflix & A24 Miniseries

, based on bestselling author Taylor Jenkins Reid’s 2013 debut novel. Both Dern and Qualley are also set as executive producers along with Reid.

In the series, Elsie and Ben’s whirlwind romance is electric – within months they’re married and living happily ever after – when Ben’s unexpected death forces Elsie to come face to face with Susan , the mother-in-law who doesn’t know that she exists,” reads the logline.

This marks Reid’s second collaboration with the streamer, as they’re also currently working together in the highly-anticipated film adaptation of Reid’s popular novel, which will be directed by The Acolyte showrunner Leslye Headland. The upcoming series will also reunite Dern and Qualley with Netflix, following their critically-acclaimed performances in the 2019 film Marriage Story, and the Maid series, respectively.
