Florida sees coronavirus cases spike to new daily record

The new record came a day after seven other states also reported record rises in cases of COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus that has killed nearly 130,000 Americans. Florida’s record rise in cases was more than any European country’s daily peak at the height of the outbreak there. The daily U.S. tally of cases stood at 53,483 late on Friday, below the previous day’s record 55,405.

There were 58 million flu cases and 730,000 flu hospitalizations from april-may 2019-2020. Those were more significant than 2.7 Covid cases and 200.000 Covid cases.

But how many deaths? And what is the age breakdown?

The others were a 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy. Very sad, but they're by far the exceptions to the rule. That age group is least likely to have any serious symptoms, let alone serious complications. Yet they want kids to go back to school without a solution or a cure. Schools are crowded in FL s will increase. If kids are being abused it's just shedding light on unfit parents. Social services need to employ more people & remove kids from these households or provide aid. This is disheartening 💔
