Florida Blue partners with 2 local health systems in launch of new HMO

Florida Blue is launching an affiliated health maintenance organization on the First Coast, partnering with Flagler Health+ and UF Health Jacksonville two years after debuting the company in Central and South Florida.

The new plan is looking to expand the number of employers who feel they can afford to offer health care benefits by lowering the cost of plans, Truli President Phillip Lee said. Truli launched in 2020 in five South Florida and three Central Florida counties and was then expanded from there, with plans being offered in Pensacola last year.
