1 / 2Winn-Dixie, a popular supermarket chain in the South, is facing backlash after it announced that, unlike several of its competitors, it will not require customers to wear face masks inside its stores.
The news follows numerous reports of altercations over face-mask regulations between customers and employees at stores across the country. Still, Winn-Dixie's stance differs from other grocery giants. Both Publix and Southeastern Grocers are headquartered in Florida, one of the hardest-hit states in the U.S. coronavirus outbreak. Florida hospitals are currently facing a shortage of beds in intensive care units, and total cases in the state recently surpassed 338,000. Florida is one of three states, including Texas and California, that account for one-fifth of the world's new coronavirus cases.
Crazy.. not going there
RT I guess they're OK with customers spreading Trump Plague to workers and other customers! WinnDixie What kind of stupid infects their management?
Cowards, they don't want to protect their customers. They wanna protect their asses, but then again it is in Florida, no surprise there
But rising the chances of the customers getting the virus is just fine
Will be switching over to WinnDixie from Publix ... enough of this stupid.
When their employees get sick and sue them, will they consider that enough friction?
Hope you provide life insurance smh
Remember this Dixie. People should boycott this market. Eventually, many clients or shoppers of Wynn Dixie will be infected with Covid-19, which a highly contagious and fatal virus. Please wear a mask.
