Storms are expected to return to the south Central Texas region on Friday, bringing the possibility of heavy rain, flooding and large hail.for the South Central Texas region could cause flooding in the Hill Country.
Storms are expected to arrive as early as Friday afternoon as a cold front makes its way south, with the greatest risk for the Interstate 35 corridor and Bexar County area, according to the National Weather Service. Two rounds of rain have been forecast, one for Friday afternoon and another during the overnight hours on Friday. Heavy rain overnight could lead to flooding in low-lying areas of the Hill Country. Damaging winds and large hail, no bigger than 1-inch, are also expected during these storms.
