MACH Could do double duty in sunny arid areas. Float them on reservoirs. They would produce electricity AND help slow evaporation.

MACH This is stupid. As more people relocate to city centers, the suburbs will have plenty of devalued, undeveloped plots of land that are too small for farming and perfect for solar and wind farms.

MACH The ability to store the excess natural electricity when there are clouds or it's night time, is what is needed.

MACH Why not put solar cells on the moon and then hook up a wire to bring it to earth?
