A Northern California homeowner made it clear this week that it’s going to take more than a lawsuit to force the prehistoric menagerie of animals outside her property into extinction.

asking a San Mateo County judge to declare the famed property a public nuisance and order Fang to remove a metal collection of dinosaurs and other animals, along with additional decorative accoutrements from her property.

Fang purchased the property for $2.8 million in 2017 and soon after began redesigning the backyard with brightly colored mushrooms, a band of 15-foot dinosaurs, a giraffe, a mastodon and a sign reading “Yabba Dabba Doo.”Fang argues in her filing that town officials had her home in their crosshairs from the very beginning and even suggested that she tear down the home shortly after she purchased it.

Fang contends that the landscaped portion of her property does not meet the size requirement necessary for permits. She also alleges a city official found the statues when he entered her backyard without her permission. An administrative hearing panel said the unapproved landscape decorations needed to be removed by December and levied a $200 fine for the violation. Fang paid the citation, but did not remove the decorations, according to the city’s complaint.

Ugh. The overreaching gov’t, the stupid racial defense, everything. Ugh. Plus, I like that house. Why must there be someone who needs to use a lawsuit to force it to be nondescript?

Leave her alone

On the one hand, I suspect that a house like this would rouse the ire of the neighbors no matter who owned it, and there really isn't racism behind the complaints. On the other hand, the neighbors can bite me, and Ms. Fang, because this house is wonderful.

Stay strong...

How much Fake plastic did she use?

It’s true. Hillsborough is discriminatory towards non-white homeowners.

Flint, MI needs water. Puerto Rico, New Orleans, Venezuel and Brazil need help. Africa, Asia and So America need help. CA is concerned about Bedrock. Uhm, okay.

Good for him I would hope his entire team would have his back. The Democrat supermajority governing Puerto Rico is terribly corrupt and inept and squandered the billions of dollars sent to PR for aid. That's not the president's fault.
