"I waited for like 5 minutes until you know to see if it was gonna, you know, leave or whatever and it never did," Dulaney said."I was trying to shoo it off a little bit and it took off and so I was like, 'Man, I gotta catch it,' and so I immediately started running," Swindle said.
For the next 4 minutes and 20 seconds, the officer chased the chicken around a parking lot. The bird eluded the officer with sly moves, such as running under railings and hiding under a car.Rare flamingo sighting on Lake Michigan in Wisconsin"I think she just thought I was going to shoo it off and call it good, but she sure got a kick out of it," he said.His efforts to corral the bird have earned him a nickname.
