President Trump has said he would name a woman to succeed Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who died Friday. He also has urged Republicans to confirm a new justice without delay, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said he would seek to confirm any nominee that Mr. Trump puts forward. Democrats, meanwhile, are pushing for the vacancy to be filled by the next president.
Gee. Isn't this the same guy who criticized his opponent for limiting himself by announcing he would choose a woman as a running mate? Choosing women is good; being a hypocrite is not.
I disagreed with their position in 2016. A sitting president should be able to bring forward a nominee. Thus, any senator who said Obama shouldn’t have the chance shouldn’t get a chance to vote! If not their word why are they there?
