Hence, the FNAF actors strike is also ongoing and the film had to rely on its trailers, merchandise, and its relation to the video game series it’s based on for promotion. While the WGA writers’ strike has been lifted, negotiations between studios and SAG-AFTRA are still ongoing. At the moment of writing, the actors’ strike has lasted 111 days. But with the two parties meeting regularly, the strike is expected to be over by the end of 2023, if not November itself. That is when the FNAF actors would also return to work, taking on future projects.
