Jason Lipshutzstill be receptive to Perry -- depending on the song, of course. “Never Really Over” was a legitimate pop hit, peaking at No. 15 on the Hot 100, and her
with Daddy Yankee and Snow wasn’t far behind it, reaching No. 22 on the chart. The commercial performance ofhas suffered because none of the singles preceding it have been able to replicate that radio success, but her wins from last year prove that just because you think she’s over at top 40 doesn’t mean she’s really over.: When I first listened to “I Kissed A Girl” on Myspace as a teen, I felt like I was getting away with something a tad naughty.
to No. 15 with"Never Really Over" last year, it's clear that she still has chart potential as an artist, she just needs the right propulsive hit to get her back on top. that you hadn't heard from her before or that kinda took you by surprise?: I was surprised to hear the f-bomb dropped in the middle of the final track, “What Makes a Woman.” I would gladly take more of that spicy KP on future releases.
on steroids. Perry has recorded songs like “Daisies” in the past, but as a radio offering, the song was delightfully unexpected.: Tracks like “Only Love” and “What Makes a Woman” sound more reflective and grown up. The latter is a short and sweet song, but it sounds like it carries the hard-earned lessons she learned as a woman who survived pop stardom.
i think she needs a REAL mature album the way madonna did it with with like a prayer and erotica... just like the way Taylor Swift is doing it right now with Folklore... love all 3 but Katy needs more mature albums and songs... Just my opinion
Does it better? She’s been wildly successful and people still dismiss her legacy and music
Billboard charts are based on free streaming now, not just pure sales. I’m not her fan but I think you guys shouldn’t care about sales as long as your favorite artist keeps releasing new music.
great read
this album is so good!! she should be proud of herself for delivering this masterpiece
Why don't you tweet about this instead? Anyways whatever she do for you never will be enough. She can do whatever you say and then you would say she should've done different. A 5, with all the context you're missing here about radio and promo it's ok.
The elite has been against her since she rebelled in 2016 and spoke against some politicians... that’s where it all began in my opinion. Also, smile with no doubt is a really good album. My favorite in 2020.
I-
I think she feels just fine having an established family, living in her mansions. She already said that she’s done with all these charts shit. You can go bark at her all day long, but it won’t change the fact that she has already proven enough as an artist.
But you are manipulating this... you are promoting other albums. When Taylor swift dropped her album you posted now and then abour her project to spread it... now Toni Braxton dropped but you didn't tell us... Katy Perry dropped you only posted once or twice bout it😥
Make sure to keep in mind one fact before 'debating' about her career...SHE IS A MOTHER!. She is now one of the most successful women in industry. She may not hav a grammy but she was awarded with the most precious award of her life by the lord above; her daughter.
It was a great album
She should be PROUD OF HERSELF. She did this while pregnant and gave birth. AN ICON I SAY. Stop hating. Katy WE LOVE YOUUU 💕❤️🖤💫✨❤️✨💕💕😃😃
Trash
