Alerts & advisoriesRed Alert: Starting 3 a.m. Wednesday and lasting until the front passes, likely after 10 p.m.Advisory: Wind Advisory from 7 a.m. Wednesday - 7 a.m. ThursdayRain forecastWe saw a decent band of windswept rain passing Tuesday night, and we can expect more waves of showers and embedded downpours Wednesday. There will be breaks, but we're not anticipating much sunshine.

Wind forecastWind gusts will reach up to 50 mph inland, but also at the coastlines. Everyone will see gusty winds that could take some tree limbs down or knock around unsecured objects.Temperature forecastMild temps are expected, as well as a sharp temperature drop off overnight from the 60s to the 30s, all driven by strong winds. Areas north of the city could see some frozen precipitation on the backside of the front, with some isolated slick spots possible early Thursday.
