How cool for the small shop in Cleveland’s Larchmere district, as Colbert aired a particularly generous and creative sketch about the yarn store.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Fine Points knitting shop should be bracing for robust holiday sales this week. If Black Friday and the Larchmere Holiday Stroll aren’t enough to drive traffic, the 37-year-old knitters’ utopia in Cleveland’s Larchmere shopping district got the #ColbertSmallBizBump last night.

Colbert, who’s known for political parody and social satire, aired a particularly generous and creative sketch about the Cleveland yarn shop. It all started with a 15-second video of the shop that was created and narrated by Tekus. Earlier this year, the real fun began. The Late Show told Tekus she was in. The producers at CBS created a skit where they “reassigned” the “NCIS: Los Angeles” team to Cleveland and challenged them to solve “The Killer Yarn.” The segment starts with dramatic views of the city.
