A recent short break at a hotel in Surrey put paid to any concerns that theis too much of a compromise on practicality. As a two-suitcase car, it certainly isn’t. The boot may have a narrow opening but the soft top doesn’t encroach on its capacity, so it easily took two overnight cases. While that’s one less than you’d get into adoes require forward planning, though.

The electric car charger at our hotel was only partly installed, so we drove to the closest public charger, a Geniepoint unit at a Texaco fuel station. However, my app for this network was out of date, so we couldn’t charge the car. In the end, we drove 15 minutes in the opposite direction to get to a Shell Recharge pay-as-you-go site. Next time I’ll have a better back-up charging plan.

Autoshop owner sued after dumping 500 pounds of pennies on ex-employee's drivewayThe US Department of Labor filed a lawsuit late last month against a Georgia auto repair shop for violating federal labor law, after its owner retaliated against a former employee who contacted the agency over failing to receive his final paycheck. Equivalent to 30 whole dollars 🤣 It’s legal currency and acceptable- it’s the oil on the pennies that got him a charge. Nasty 🤮 and immature Dixie202021 No ass pennies.

Volkswagen ID.3 long-term test reviewWhen we group tested the Volkswagen ID.3, we were so impressed that we named it Small Electric Car of the Year. But does it continue to cut the mustard during the daily grind? 11 months of range data from a 58kwh id3 short journeys kill range due to battery management (ie warming it) if you have a 200 mile journey best to preheat car (not plugged in) and then top up using 7kwh charger. I just grab a coffee with a quick dc charge for 15 mins in winter Poor quality interior, terrible infotainment system, not as quiet or comfy as rivals, technical issues with charging and keyfob. What Car score? 5 stars.

Renault Arkana 2022 long-term review | AutocarRenault has set out to democratise the coupé-SUV. Is this endeavour a worthy one? We're finding out with the Arkana, the latest addition to our long-term fleet no pls stahp It is not and never will be a coupé, just like all the other tasteless sloped-back SUV’s. I don’t really understand the point. You’re buying an SUV for the space (amongst other things). So why buy one that then has that space designed out of it? And then be likely charged more? 🤷🏼‍♂️
