When Vallejo police shot rapper Willie McCoy in his car, a community of local families who had lost loved ones in police shootings rose up in protest. It was the department’s 16th fatal police shooting since 2011, two-and-a-half times the national rate.

People are responsible for what we have. If they want freedom then they must protest and get a police force that is for them and not to make money for a city or government agency by filling a quota, that causes corruption.
