The reprieve for WeChat comes a day after TikTok, an app owned by ByteDance, a company based in China, was rescued in aapproved by Trump in which software company Oracle will serve as a custodian of U.S. user data, with a major investment from Walmart. The lawsuit was filed by the U.S. WeChat Users Alliance, a nonprofit representing the interests of U.S. WeChat users that was established to challenge Trump's order.

1. First amendment protects right to speak freely, not right to use a specific platform. 2. WeChat itself contravenes the First amendment because it monitors speech and censors content. Users are not able to speak freely on the platform. This ruling is the wrong way around.

Most things made or produced in China, so is this selective banning? Because regardless of the technology, even if you go into any store, and took all Chinese produced goods out, what would be left? The US doesn't want to pay US workers a decent wage and then complains, really!
