... [+]U.S. federal investigators have announced a probe into Sunday’s fatal car crash in that involved a Tesla car with a semi-autonomous driver-assistance system.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will look into the crash, in which a 2016 Model S, while the Tesla driver and a passenger were transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, it’s unclear whether Tesla’s Autopilot driver assistance system was being used at the time of the collision.

I see many accidents on the freeway, most are not Teslas. Are they investigated? I don’t think so.
We should ban power steering and automatic transmissions while we are at it. Clearly, anything that makes driving easier is going to allow the driver to become distracted and take focus away from the task at hand. Drivers just can't help themselves.
