The fed is not a political tool.

It’s unfortunate the Fed communication of the last rate hike was so poor that it had to spend 3 weeks explaining and re-explaining it’s views to calm the financial markets. Hopefully, Powell learned from this experience. FOMC InterestRates finance economics

They have a responsibility to US and the economy, and no one else. Trump keeps trying to tamper with things to make himself look good. And wow, he really doesn’t understand how to build a strong economy. At all.
