The FBI is prepared to brief congressional leaders on the counterintelligence findings of Special Counsel Mueller's investigation, 2 senior US officials tell NBCNews.

, and the letter sent to Congress on Sunday by Attorney General William Barr about the Mueller probe is silent on the question of whether investigators found that Trump or anyone around him might be compromised or influenced by Russia.

The officials said they expect the FBI to brief the so-called Gang of 8 — the leaders of the House and the Senate and the chairmen and ranking members of the intelligence committees — in closed session. No briefing has been scheduled, a third U.S. official familiar with the matter said, but one of the officials said it could happen within the next 30 to 60 days.Congressional Democrats have demanded such a briefing under a law requiring the executive branch to keep Congress informed about intelligence activities.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said during a conference call with House Democrats on Saturday she would reject any classified briefings, but the Senate Intelligence Committee wants one, according to Senate aides, to assist in its ongoing Russia investigation.

Well? 7 hundred billion people are prepared to dance in the streets and celebrate this Trump win. Are you prepared for the fallout of all your negative news reporting and maybe even hang up your shingle that you are a giver of fake and malicious news reporting?

The FBI? 🤣😅😂🤣

When that gets demonstrated through *documentary evidence*, these media outlets are going to be sued and they won't be able to hide behind the First Amendment, which doesn't provide cover for acts of fraud and deliberate malice.Z

Transparency is all that matters now.

thank GOD who can believe Barr who is appointed by Trump?

No word on when, so whats the point in reporting? Most likely won’t happen

Graham encouraged McCain to turn Trump-Russia dossier over to FBIGOP Sen. Lindsey Graham said Monday that he told the late Sen. John McCain to turn over the dossier of Trump-Russia allegations to the FBI, pushing back against President Donald Trump's assertions that the Arizona Republican helped fan the flames of the Russia investigation. Gee, is there the faintest sign of a backbone showing in LG? A little too late “friend”. No one has a problem with giving the dossier to the FBI, it was giving it to the press to generate a collusion narrative that was the problem. Everyone knows this. Apparently CNN can't figure this out.

Inside Mueller’s FBI teamRobert Mueller headed up the Russia investigation, but he had a team of FBI agents, mostly unknown to the public, in his corner. In May 2018, we wrote about the agents who formed the core of Mueller’s team. Again, we see the consequence of the Democrats attempt of making something out of nothing. 2016 was supposed to be landslide and the Russia investigation was intended to bring down the President. Just because you can think it no matter what you do reality and truth stand!
