Dr. Jen Ashton answers the latest questions from viewers.WILMINGTON, Del. -- The U.S. government's top infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, said Sunday that he was hopeful the Food and Drug Administration will give full approval to the coronavirus vaccine by month's end and predicted the potential move will spur a wave of vaccine mandates in the private sector as well as schools and universities.
Fauci's comments come as the Biden administration is weighing what levers it can push to encourage more unvaccinated Americans to get their shots as the delta variant continues to surge through much of the United States. The administration has become more vocal in its support of vaccine mandates at a moment when high-profile companies have informed employees that coronavirus vaccination requirements are in the works, and some localities have adopted or are contemplating vaccine requirements to dine indoors.
Disney and Walmart have announced vaccine mandates for white-collar workers, and Microsoft, Google and Facebook said they will require proof of vaccination for employees and visitors to their U.S. offices. Tyson Foods has also announced it will require all U.S. employees to get vaccinated by November. The U.S. Supreme Court last week was asked to block a plan by Indiana University to require students and employees to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

This is performance theatre. 0% chance they don't get approved. The amount of data has staggering. Should've fast tracked it and approve within a month. Every week matters. There are people who legitimately are waiting approval. Meanwhile Biogen gets the OK...
Several friends who are not anti vaxxers or Covid deniers were uncomfortable getting the vaccine because of this hurdle. They did not want to take an experimental drug. Hoping this ends that hurdle. Remember it doesn’t matter why they resisted, just get the damn shot!
Fauci. F. U.
Very interesting and when look on what really happen in England right now. Urgency and death numbers is now from people that got the vaccine.
Doesn't matter, still within the safe time limit.
Do the companies stand by their products? So if something happens the family can sue Im sure. They stand by their product right?
Once we get FDA approval can people sue the pharmaceutical companies if they have permanent side effects caused by the vaccine?
Has anyone noticed that the 'field testing' of these vaccines exceeds the sample sizes that are used in normal FDA testing probably more than a hundred fold. What TF are they waiting for, anyway?
The people who say, “I won’t get the vaccine because it’s not FDA approved” will not get the vaccine once it’s FDA approved.
