The Hunger Games has been reimagined in the style of Wes Anderson in a new fan video. The Hunger Games originated as a 2008 dystopian young adult novel following Katniss Everdeen, a young woman from the nation of Panem's destitute District 12 who volunteers to replace her sister as a tribute in the Hunger Games, where two children from each district must fight to the death until there is only one survivor.
Of course, the vistas of Panem have been reimagined as symmetrical shots draped in plenty of pastel colors, which end up evoking the aesthetic excess of The Capitol rather well. The new cast, imagined via digital recreations, includes Saoirse Ronan as Katniss, Timothée Chalamet as Peeta, and Jason Schwartzman as TV host Caesar Flickerman, a fitting touch considering he will play Flickerman's predecessor in the upcoming Hunger Games prequel.
