Family of TV meteorologist says she struggled with eye surgery complications before suicide

Too many people have surgery to make themselves look better and do not understand that in any type of surgery there is always a risk. My prayers are with her family.

I’m so sorry for your family. I had a corrective eye procedure and I ended up having dry eyes and for a long time the sun was my enemy. It eventually got some better, but for her to commit suicide she must have been having major depression problems. Everyone is different. ❤️

This is just awful. I still wonder if she had some emotional issues prior to the surgery. Depression is crazy. Not everyone shows signs. I feel for her family.

This is really tragic and something that is not often talked about. Do your research and think twice before getting laser eye surgery. My heart goes out to her family and I can’t imagine the nightmare she had to deal with before she took her own life..
