How about no one enlist at all? The US doesn't treat soldiers particularly well and veterans are treated even worse.
I had a friend that was assaulted in her sleep by another soldier while we all were asleep. We reported it immediately. All of us were under investigation, and they gave us minimal charges (we all had drank). The guy got off with extra duty/docked pay and stationed in Hawaii.
The system is broken. The accomplice who helped conceal and dismember the body is out on bond. The total ineptitude by local authorities and the command at Fort Hood are downright useless and a stain to Texas. Ty for those who searched for her.
There is a systemic failure
The guy who killed himself must have done it?
