A Fairbanks clinician suffered anaphylactic symptoms after being given the Pfizer Inc coronavirus vaccine, a hospital said on Friday, becoming the third Alaska health care worker to suffer an adverse reaction to the new drug.

The clinician, whose name was not released, started showing symptoms about 10 minutes after being inoculated on Thursday, according to Foundation Health Partners, operator of the Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.

Two health care workers in Juneau suffered adverse reactions to the medication earlier this week. One was briefly hospitalized in that city for anaphylaxis after she was vaccinated on Tuesday. The second had a milder reaction on Wednesday and was treated at the hospital emergency room and released. The Fairbanks clinician issued her own statement that was included in the Foundation Health Partners release.

Nothing like a little covid fear porn to make the season merrier!!

I will wait till all the Democrats take the vaccine first and see how they react to it. If they’re ok then I still won’t take it.

At this point it seems pretty clear that the problem is with Alaskans, not with the vaccine...

Do not take other meds before getting the vaccination. I'd wait for 20 minutes before leaving.

STOP TAKING IT.

I reeeally wish they’d say how many Alaska clinicians had received the COVID-19 vaccine alongside how many had adverse reactions

Third adverse reaction? Really.? Ok. Let’s stop the other few million who will be ok from taking it. Why is this so important to report? Are you anti-vax? You will find adverse in everything. I’m sure 70% who work at Reuters have an adverse effect on journalism

That might explain something about 'adverse reaction'.

Alaska is cold but not -80 on the worst days, well not many anyway. Maybe out of range due to distance of travel? I am sure pfizer is on it as their entire company is all in and glad they are.

Interesting that these reactions seem to be concentrated in Alaska so far.

Why in Alaska?

Almost all medications and vaccines have adverse reactions or a chance for an allergy. If statistics show it is extremely unlikely among thousands or millions vaccinated, it’s not a big deal. A lot of people are severely allergic to peanuts, but they still sell them everywhere

Dokter Fairbanks adalah Alaska ketiga dengan reaksi merugikan terhadap vaksin COVID-19

Bad dope hitting Alaska man!!!!

I hope no one dies from the reactions. That would discourage people from taking it. I think it's worth the risk compared to this image:

Are they Alaskan native or American Indian?

nice

They need to track that lot.
