Since a provocative run in North Korean nuclear and missile tests in 2016 and 2017, much of the U.S. focus has been on North Korea’s intercontinental ballistic missiles that pose a direct threat to the American homeland. But experts say North Korea’s growing arsenal of shorter-range solid-fuel weapons are more destabilizing for U.S. allies South Korea and Japan.
South Korea’s military took an unusually long time to release its assessment on the launches Thursday before it said hours later that the missiles traveled as far as 450 kilometers . If North Korea successfully develops an operational system, these missiles will provide an ability to launch tactical nuclear attacks on military bases and other strategic targets, said Yang Wook, a military expert who teaches at South Korea’s Hannam University.
“A conventional warhead of 2.5 tons would be enough to bust deeply built bunkers,” he said. “That capacity would also allow for something more powerful than tactical nuclear weapons, possibly thermonuclear devices.”North Korea has a history of testing new U.S. administrations with weapons demonstrations aimed at forcing the Americans back to the negotiating table.
'Whew! flak execution dodged, it's a great day!'
No reason to get upset. The only reason for these missiles is to keep the godforsaken USA out!
Unless they're over here threatening US then leave them alone. Anyone ever think the more America ramps up their military for OFFENCE the more other countries expand their defences ? IMAGINE America leading the world in abolishing weapons designed to kill ! the GOP is threat !
AP goes in the wake of the US Department_of_State, demonizing North Korea and anyone who interferes with them. And this is very noticeable if you open headlines such as Washington_Post, DW, BBC and the like. One course - and common 'enemies'!
If you need references to the Talmud's supremacism, then check out this book about the war between the 'Sons of Light' and the 'Sons of Darkness' : 'Beware the World to Come' by Christopher Jon Bjerknes...
No worries, Trump's got 'em on the ropes, he's our super duper super secret president ya know👍🙄
The other side of this horror is that THESE MISSLES LAND IN THE ICEAN WHERE THEY KILL MIKLIONS OF FISH AND WHALES AND POLLUTE!!! Christ! HUMANS ARE THE SCOURGE OF THE EARTH
And while the world holds the micro North Korea as a threat, the country is forced to invest in war, instead of developing itself and its people. It's a lose-lose situation, except for US, who can sell weapons to NK's neighbours anytime, just bulling Kim around.
Ok didnt they say in like 2010, by 2025 theyd have Nukes. Well we aint far

So are your bosses missles and unlike North Korea they don't care about using against innocent people...
I really wonder how they can afford to fire these unless they're being supplied with funds and or materials. Remember, they have the mother of all sanctions on them that's gaurded by international law
That pile they keep sweeping under the carpet needs to be cleaned up.
They should better focus on aircarrier busters. Then again the Americans might attack them from South Korea aswell
Practice makes perfect! Sadly, in this case...
Is putting 'EXPLAINER' in front of a title that states that it will explain something in the content still a thing? Isn't the purpose of the statement 'Here's a look at...' a more effective and streamlined way of showing that something will be explained?
Former guy did a nice job at deterrence with his love letter exchange friend, Kim the Rocketman ..., LMAO
Well overdue some 'freedom'. If only they had oil, to make the trip financially viable.
imagine the horror if the crazed madman nuked a big japanese city like hiroshima or nagasaki
Although having a missile seems like a threat but this is main question: What happens to North Korea if he used it? Is there anything left of North Korea?
