ADOT places a high priority on keeping its customers informed of construction-related activities, restrictions and closures so they can plan their travels. Please take ato tell us how we are doing. The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following lane restrictions and ramp closures on Interstate 40 near Perkins Valley Road though Holbrook beginning Monday, Sept. 19:

East- and westbound I-40 will be intermittently reduced to one lane in each direction daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays from Sept. 19, through Oct. 12.Drivers should be prepared to slow down when approaching the work zone.RAMP CLOSURE SCHEDULEHopi Drive: eastbound on- and off-ramps from noon to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22.North Navajo Boulevard: eastbound on- and off-ramps from 6 a.m. to noon on Monday, Sept. 26.Navajo Boulevard/SR 77: westbound on- and off-ramps from 6 a.m.

As part of the $6.5 million project, crews are removing the existing top layer of pavement and replacing it with a new asphalt overlay, which is designed to protect the underlying pavement structure. The work also includes making spot pavement repairs prior to the placement of new asphalt and other related work.web pageSchedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
